Bet on this Weekend's Sport
Another busy sporting weekend is upon us, as the Olympic Games begin in Beijing, and the English football season gets underway in the Football League and Championship. This seasons first piece of silverware is up for grabs on Sunday when Manchester United take on Portsmouth in the Charity Shield at Wembley, while this weekends big race is the Shergar Cup Challenge from Ascot at 3:30pm on Saturday.
Weekend Racing from Ascot - Live on Saturday, BBC2, 1:00pm
Ascot celebrates the career of racing legend Shergar this weekend withe the Shergar Cup Festival. The showpiece race is Saturday's Shergar Cup Challenge at 3:30pm.
All The Good is slight favourite in what appears to be an open race, as stablemate Filios is also fancied , thanks to the impressive recent form of Saeed Bin Suroor's yard. Three wins and four good places from the last nine races have no doubt inspired confidence amongst their team, and they look in strong shape here to take another good result.
Favourites have a fantastic recent record in the Shergar Challenge Cup, with the last two winners landing the gamble. Before then however, the two previous years saw winners of 14/1 and 20/1 respectively. This year could see another outsider, such as last years winner Strategic Mount, upset the form book again.
Check out Betwithred for all the latest odds ahead of the big race.
Can last years winning jockey Frankie Dettori emulate Richard Hughes and win back to back in this race on Sahrati? Tune into BBC2 to find out.

Manchester United v Portsmouth,Wembley, Sunday, 3:00pm
The curtain raiser to the English football season pits Premiership champions Manchester United against FA Cup winners Portsmouth this Sunday. United will not be at full strength folowing Ronaldo's exploits with Portugal, and Wayne Rooney misses out with an illness caught during a tour of Africa. United will be looking to claim thier first silverware in a season they hope will be as successful as last season Premiership and European Cup double. Due to this success, manager Alex Ferguson has decided not to bring in any new faces so far this summer, although they are still strong rumours linking Tottenham's Dimitar Berbatov to Old Trafford.
Portsmouth will be returning to the scene of their FA Cup triumph when they travel to Wembley, with memories of that triumph no doubt still fresh in the memory. Their 1-O win over Cardiff City back in May was Pompey's first piece of silverwre since they won the Championship in 1950, a year after their last appearance in this game. That success also meant Harry Redknapp's team have a European campaign to look forward to this year, while they will aim to be more consistent in the Premiership following a disappointing end to last season.
United are 4/7 favourites with Betwithred, while VC Bet make Portsmouth the 9/2 outsiders.
If Manchester United v Portsmouth finishes 0-0, BGbet will refund all losing correct score bets on that game.2
If Ryan Giggs scores at anytime during the Manchester United v Portsmouth game, BGbet will refund all losing first goalscorer bets in that match.2
Championship Football, Live this Weekend, Sky Sports
Birmingham City v Sheffield United, Saturday, Sky Sports 2, 12:30pm
Two of the favourites for the Championship title meet at St. Andrews on Saturday, when Birmingham will be hoping to put relegation behind them with a win over a Sheffield Unted side that will be looking to improve on a dissapointing ninth last year, as they missed out on even a playoff position.
City will want a repeat of their last season in the Championship in 2006/2007, when they bounced straight back from relegation with automatic promotion by finishing second to Sunderland. The addition of Kevin Phillips brings with it the guarantee of goals from the former Sunderland and Villa man, as he is a proven hitman in this divison. Along with Phillips, fellow strike partners Garry O' Connor and James McFadden will be aiming to justify BGbet's 6/1 pricing of the Blues as favourite for the title. They are also the favourites for this game with VC Bet at 10/11, while Kevin Phillips is Betwithred's favourite to open the scoring at 4/1.
Sheffield United will enter the season with renewed optimism under Kevin Blackwell, despite the loss of frontman Rob Hulse to Derby in the close season. However, they still have last seasons top scorer Kevin Beattie, and another foward with Premiership experience in Keith Gillespie. The midfield also looks strong with Gary Speed, Michael Tonge and Lee Hendrie amongst those competing for a place. Due to the loss of their experienced frontmen, however, they are 11/4 with BGbet for this game, and 12/1 with Betwithred for the Championship title.
If Garry O' Connor scores at anytime during the Birmingham City v Sheffield United game, BGbet will refund all losing first goalscorer bets in that match.2
Nottingham Forest v Reading, Sunday, Sky Sports 2, 1:00pm
Sunday's Championship game pits together two teams that were two divisions apart last season, as Reading say goodbye to Old Trafford and Anfield, while Forest will be happy to leave the likes of Vale Park and Kenilworth Road behind. Despite relegation form the Premiership, Reading have managed to keep much of the squad together, including boss Steve Coppell. He had hinted he would leave the club after relegation, but summer talks have persuaded him to stay, while only Dave Kitson and Nicky Shorey has so far left the club during the summer. Betwithred make them second favourites for the Championship at 8/1, and they are 7/5 favourtites for this game at VC Bet, with outsiders Forest are 13/8 with VC Bet.
If Noel Hunt scores at anytime during the Nottingham Forest v Reading game, BGbet will refund all losing first goalscorer bets in that match.2
