There’s an exciting game in prospect at Ellis Park on Monday, with Chile sure to employ their usual attacking formation against their south American counterparts. However, manager Marcelo Bielsa will have to cope without the suspended trio of Gary Medel, Waldo Ponce and Marco Estrada, which leaves the Chileans pretty short at the back. Brazil easily beat the same opposition home and away during the qualifying for the World Cup, with strikers Nilmar and Luis Fabiano filling their boots on the counter-attack. Although Dunga’s team are a pretty defensive bunch, they will welcome Kaka back and Robinho might also be involved as they look for a way past a makeshift Chile defence. Julio Cesar is the safest pair of hands in this World Cup and, while it might not be pretty to watch, the Selecao have to be the bet to progress to the quarter finals.
