It’s something of a surprise to see the Shots being offered at 4/6, considering the two teams’ respective positions in the table. Although they lost 2-1 at Accrington during the week, Aldershot had previously beaten Bournemouth 2-1 and held leaders Rochdale to a 1-1 draw, with midfielder-cum-striker Andy Sandell having now scored four goals in his last seven matches.

Grimsby are struggling to stay up this season, with the club barely having any money to bring in new players during the January window. Manager Neil Woods has clearly got his work cut out at Blundell Park and Town have failed to win a match since early October.
